1864 2 Cent Piece NGC Authenticated MS65 RB, Red Brown . The reds have attractive hues and there is a luster that can be seen in the proper lighting . The detail is nice of the shield the crossed arrows on the obverse and the wheat wreath on the reverse . There is some color tones that can be seen on the reverse along the edges of the dark toning and on the wheat stalks in the wreath . There is dark toning on the obverse that has a purple hue in the proper lighting .
This coin has the diagnostics of 1864/1864 VP-001 overdate variety .
