An 1872 key date two cent piece graded F 15 by PCGS. It has excellent details for the grade and looks as nice as some very fine graded examples we have seen. It also holds a nice chocolate brown original patina.
This key date coin holds a small mintage of only 65,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 48 graded Fine 15 by PCGS.
