THE LARGE AWARD WITH RAISED LEAF AND SCROLL WORK, WAS TO A BUCHANAN, WINNER OF THE OPEN BOXING INTER COMPANY OF THE 3RD ROYAL SCOTS FUSILIERS WINNING THE WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION IN 1917, THIS STERLING SILVER MEDALLION IS LARGE 1 3/4 INCHES IN DIAMETER OR 44MM. IT IS HEAVY WEIGHING 1.75 OUNCES. IT HAS A SMALL EDGE DENT ON THE BACK SIDE  SEE PICTURE. THE STERLING MARK IS FOR JOSEPH MOORE OF BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND AND IS DATED 1916 WITH THE LOWER CASE R . ON THE FRONT AT THE TOP IS Pte A BUCHANAN AND ON THE SCROLL AT THE TOP IS "F" COY, I THINK THAT IS FOR THE SIGNAL CORP.
