Amazing 1940s Vintage 17” Gund Creations J Swedlin Plush Zebra 40s Stuffed Animal.
It dates to the 40s based on the eyes and the tag I believe but am not positive. I’ve looked online and saw similar dating at that age with the same appearance. It’s in used condition but overall clean and in good condition especially for its age. The woman I bought it from kept it in her older son’s room until the day she passed. It has some surface wear but solidly intact. No rips or holes. The felt saddle has safety pins holding in place and I’ve left it exactly as I purchased it with no modifications. There is no odor to the stuffed animal but a faint dust smell. The yarn ribbon mane is in excellent untattered condition also his tail. I just noticed a loose stitching spot by his hind leg but it isn’t torn.

Would be great as a bed decoration or displayed.
Measures approximately 15” sitting and rump to top of head 17”
It’s stiffer stuffing but not overly stiff. Condition is Used selling AS IS as described
