Description
Original 1951 letter from Spokane Indian "Blackstar" a well know magician & entertainer since the 1930s in the western states. Real name is Ignace Camille who wrote this letter to his friend  Jerome Peltier, Northwest Historian and author of many Native American & Fur Trade papers & books. Also owned the old Clark's Book Store in downtown Spokane. It is typed on his rare letterhead with his signature and is a wonderful piece of history.
Content is very interesting to all historians.
No envelope was saved and letter is in very good condition with no stains or fading and some creasing from folding and minor wear.
Last two images are only a reference found on the net, NOT part of sale.
A great addition to any collection.
