    Description

Presented is a very fine vintage Danish silver souvenir spoon. The top of the spoon is decorated with a picturesque scene of a farmhouse with a windmill, barn, and fields. Around this are the Danish words, "Fædrearv værnes til egen tarv" which I believe roughly translates, "Our Fathers' Legacy Cherished for Our Own Best Interests."
The spoon is marked on the reverse with the 1920 three tower mark for Copenhagen that guarantees a minimum silver purity of .826 fineness, and the Assayer's mark of Christian F. Heise, who worked between 1904-1932.
The condition is excellent. The details on the top of the spoon and hand-hammered finish on the bowl and reverse of the spoon are in great shape with virtually no wear. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The spoon measures about 7 1/8 inches long.
The weight is 62.9 grams or 2.22 ounces.
