API Pond Stress Coat Water Conditioner is an essential water treatment for setting up a pond, adding new fish or changing pond water. It works to remove chlorine, chloramines and ammonia from tap water for the ideal environment. This conditioner is also formulated to form a synthetic slime coating to replace your fish’s natural slime coat which can be lost or damaged due to handling, netting or other forms of stress. Pond Stress Coat helps prevent the loss of electrolytes, and it contains aloe vera to help heal torn fins and wounds and promote regeneration of damaged tissue. Instructions
When adding water to the pond: add 4 tbsp (60 ml) per 240 US gallon (908 L) of pond water, or ½ cup (120 ml) for each 480 US gallons (1,817 L). In areas of known high chloramines use by local water companies, double the dose for added fish protection. When introducing fish to the pond & to promote healing: double the dose.
