They are about 8.5"X14" and each contain 2 pages on either side of a single piece of paper. They have significant damage and wear as well as a few missing pieces as shown in the photos. The April 16 paper has
reports of Genoa
, a report of the
burning of the Capitol building in Williamsburg Virginia,

Order
from Massachusetts Bay Colony Governor William Shirley
concerning
soldier
Furloughs
as well as some other local news items. The May 14 paper contains a report on the
Invasion of Provence,
a Report on a small
battle in Albany
, a witness report on the taking of
Fort Massachusetts
the previous summer by
French and Indian forces
as well as  news from
Boston
on the new appointment
General assembly
representatives
including
Samuel Adams and Thomas Hutchinson.
