    Description

    British WWI-WWII RAF DFC miniature medal bar to decorated pilot.  Very nice miniature group including DFC, WWI War medal, WWI Victory w/MID oak-leaf, 39-45 Star w/'Battle of Britain' bar, Africa Star w/'North Africa 1942-43' bar, Defense medal, WWII War Service medal w/MID oak-leaf, KG V's Silver Jubilee medal, and RAF Long Service & Good Conduct medal.  Nice older mounting, all silver medals are real silver, shows only minor wear, ribbons colors still bright and nice mild tarnish to silver medals.  Comes with possible provenance.  When I acquired this group many years ago it came in a small mailing box dated 1955, and was addressed to a 'W/Commdr. J. Rogers'.  I did some tentative research, but was never able to find out anything; so needs more research by a more experienced researcher.
