They can learn to spell the name of the animal. As you might be able to see by my pictures the animals names are right next to the item or animal in the picture. It's not just animals. There are also items like a purse and a racial differences violin and a Jack-o-Lantern.
    With 24 pieces, as the box says, he's our big pieces for small hands. Finished size is 24 in by 18 in, and this thing will keep your young child busy for a while. Meant for ages 5 and up but I'm pretty sure younger children could do it with your help.
