  • Condition: The letter is in good condition, a form letter to a contributor thanking them. The envelope is slit open across the top with some of the top flap coming loose. The front of the envelope has marks and the back is relatively clean. Post mark New Orleans Dec 16, 1965 and 5c stamp. The watermark on the paper is Bert Bond, but this may be only a partial reading of the watermark. Victor Schiro was mayor of New Orleans from 1961 to 1970. He died in 1992.     The letter is in good condition, a form letter to a contributor thanking them. The envelope is slit open across the top with some of the top flap coming loose. The front of the envelope has marks and the back is relatively clean. Post mark New Orleans Dec 16, 1965 and 5c stamp.
