    Commemorative copper(?) medallion for the 1969 entry into service of the of the steamship
    HAMBURG
    of the German Atlantic Line.  One side is a portrait of the ship and the other side is view of the port of Hamburg.  With the original presentation case.  Medallion measures 1.5" diameter.  Later operated as the
    MAXIM GORKY
    .
    Please see photos for condition.  Original lacquer patina and virtually no wear.  This is an original item, not a reproduction.
