  • Condition: Complete issue of 16 pages. Paper was made with rag content at the time so the paper quality is very good. Issue was previously bound protecting the issues within for over 150 years. The issue is in excellent condition and very clean. The two Winslow Homer illustrations are in excellent condition. The Nast centerfold is tipped in so there are no pinholes, but there is some wear and staining at the very top and bottom of the center seam (please see photo). More so than usual, in the Nast print one can see the outlines of the squares of each woodcut which makes the centerfold unusual and interesting. Overall this issue is in excellent condition. Issue is stored in a clear plastic sleeve with one end open.
