    Description

Huichol Beaded CATRINA BRIDE Figurine Mexican Folk Art Day of Dead Signed COA
Huichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.
Absolutely gorgeous, 100% authentic, elegant gray pearl ivory pearl theme glass beaded clay, Day of the Dead, Catrina Bride sculpture figurine.  Using the traditional Huichol techniques of pressing Campeche wax onto this sculpture and adding, one-by-one, glass beads this Day of the Dead La Calavera Catrina depicts the offering message.  Handmade by the talented Mexican Huichol Indian artist, Isaias Bautista Carrillo, Turatemai, in Mexico.  Isaias' designs have that
    haute couture
    elegance.
This Catrina is signed by the artist and a COA, certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, is included
    .
Dressed in a gorgeous beaded strapless bridal gown, with gray pearl, ivory pearl and black color beaded accents, this Catrina portrays a sassy and elegant pose.  Her mermaid style gown, ruffled at the bottom, has the ultimate Messenger Deer communicating with the Gods and the scorpion protecting her wedding day with blessings.
Her gorgeous 3D sculpted gown is close to her body and elegantly shows her beautiful curves.  In the front, the scorpion protecter, mother of the corn and a stalk of nourishing corn honor her bosom for a healthy family.  On the back of her dress is the candle lighting her way to the ceremony and a God's Eye flame protecting her future children.  Around the bottom of her gown, Peyote flowers, Messenger Deers, Mother of the corn and rain blend together in communication to the Gods.
Her gorgeous long veil, in 1920's clouche headdress style, with 3D Peyote flowers for future success is embellished with the Messenger Deer (spiritual guide between men and women), the corn and the rain for future crops.  Her head is detachable and we love her neon pink eyeshadow and bright white painted teeth.
The symbols used on her gown and veil make her seem as if she is preparing for her special day in a most elegant way.  Gorgeous!
