NATIVE AMERICA INDIAN MUSEUM PIECE..UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION A VERY OLD WEATHERED DISPLAY BOARD 33" x 5" WITH ASSORTED AMERICAN INDIAN WEAPONS. THIS DISPLAY CAME FROM THE SAME MUSEUM THAT MANY OF OUR ARTIFACTS DID IN THE 1940s. READ ON!
INCLUDED ON THIS BOARD ARE FOLLOWING.
SIOUX SQUAW AXE HEAD 4"
FLINT SPEAR HEAD 5"
DAG KNIFE BLADE 16"
POSSIBLY LATE 1800s LANCE HEAD HARD TO TELL WITHOUT REMOVING FROM THE BOARD. THE DESCRIPTION LABLE IS LONG GONE.
WE WERE GOING TO REMOVE EVERYTHING FROM THE BOARD AND SELL THE PIECES SEPARATELY. BUT AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION WE DECIDED TO SELL IT AS FOUND AND KEEP THEM TOGETHER. THEY WERE PROBABLY ATTACHED TO THE BOARD 80 OR 90 YEARS AGO.
CONDITION IS AS SEEN AGED, RUSTED ETC. ALL PIECES ARE GLUED AND WIRED TO THE OLD 1" THICK BOARD WITH OLD STAINED AND FADED LABELS EXPLAINING TO MUSEUM ATTENDEES BACK IN THE DAY, WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING AT.
THE LABEL ON THE TOP OF THE BOARD SAYS SIOUX PLAINES SPELLED WRONG... INDIAN WORKING TOOL'S. WHILE EACH ONE HERE COULD HAVE BEEN EITHER WORKING TOOLS OR FIGHTING WEAPONS.
I AM SELLING THIS FOR A ELDERLY FRIEND OF MINE WHO'S MOTHER WAS PART CHEROKEE. HE IS 88 YEARS OLD AND TELLS ME THIS AND MANY OTHER INDIAN ARTIFACTS HE HAS HAVE BEEN IN HIS FAMILY FOR OVER 80 YEARS. THEY WERE ACQUIRED FROM A MUSEUM OUT WEST IN THE 1940s. HENCE THE EXCELLENT CONDITION. HIS PARENTS WE'RE AVID COLLECTORS OF NATIVE AMERICAN ARTIFACTS.
HE'S STILL PRETTY SHARP AND I HAVE NO REASON TO DOUBT HIM. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.
I'M ONLY THE MESSENGER!
HE HAS OTHER REALLY INTERESTING INDIAN ARTIFACTS I WILL BE LISTING FOR HIM FROM TIME TO TIME. HE SAYS HE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE HIS TREASURE'S WITH SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE HE LEAVES FOR "THE BIG SKY"
I'M DOING THIS FOR HIM AS A FAVOR SINCE HE CAN NOT DO IT HIMSELF. HE HAS NO FAMILY LEFT AND VERY FEW FRIENDS. I MAKE NOTHING ON THE SALE OF THESE ITEMS. I'M JUST TRYING TO HELP HIM OUT.
THIS IS A REALLY AWESOME LOOKING PIECE IN UNTOUCHED GOOD CONDITION.
I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE SUBJECT OF AMERICAN INDIAN HISTORY BUT I AM VERY CONFIDENT HE IS.
HE TELLS ME ABOUT EACH PIECE AND I PUT IT HERE BEFORE YOU. IT'S UP TO YOU TO LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS CLOSELY AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION ON ITS AGE AND AUTHENTICITY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION OR WANT MORE PHOTOS PLEASE ASK AND BE SPICFIC. IT MAY TAKE ME AWHILE TO GET BACK TO YOU SINCE I HAVE TO CONTACT HIM FOR ANSWERS. THANKS FOR LOOKING. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS.
