    Description

    A fine classic ISHI mahogany arrowhead made while at Berkeley California in the early 1900s." This piece was acquired by Pauline, Frank, Newolf. as a young girl, was confined as a  patient recovering from mastectomy surgery. Pauline was a lively and charming young girl and soon made friends with another inmate. An Indian named ISHI. They wood go into the park and trap small animals and ISHI showed Pauline how to make Arrowheads. This is one of them given Paulina, Per,Pauline and later given to me by Pauline." This Letter of History and Provenience, Will be given as proof to the buyer per who the letter was written. 2-3/4 x 1 inch. Comes from a private collection in San Fransisco/ Marin Co.
