    watercolors. He was married to artist Beth Van Hoesen.
    The letter is handwritten on both sides of a small piece of paper.
    about 4" by 6".
    It
    is addressed to the late Roger Harris,
    a well-known autograph collector.
    The letter
    is undated. However, the evidence of another signed
    Mark Adams item indicates that it was written in September, 1972.
    The letter has a small tear at a bottom corner. Otherwise, it is
    in good condition, with some moderate wear.
