  • Condition: Complete issue of 16 pages. The paper was made with rag content at the time so the paper is very sturdy and durable. The issue was previously bound protecting the pages within for over 150 years. The cover illustration is in good condition but there is some smudging along the lower right hand corner (please see photo). There is also some smudging along the edges throughout the issue, for the most part it does not encroach upon the text or illustrations. The Grant illustration also has smudging along the bottom edge but otherwise is in very good condition. The centerfold was tipped in so there is no damage along the center seam however, again, there is some staining and smudges along the edges, especially along the bottom edge (again, please see photo). Overall illustrations are in good to very good condition. Issue is stored in a clear acid-free sleeve with one end open.
