    Description

    Presented is a lovely old Spanish colonial silver tray. This piece dates to around 1750-1820. The tray is done in a simple, classical oval form, with a shallow rim. This is quite a rare and handsome piece, and a great opportunity for any silver collector.
    The tray is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be approximately 900 purity silver.
    This piece is in great overall condition. There are some old solder repairs visible around the rim and some scratches that can be buffed out, but nothing that effects usability. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, and no monogram removals.
    The tray measures about 13 1/2 by 9 inches.
    The tray weighs 477 grams or 16.8 regular ounces. -jm
