    Description

    You are bidding on a 8 x 10 black and white  photograph of HMCS The Pas, K 168, a Flower  Class Corvette of the ( 1939-1940  ) Program, which served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941-1945.
    The Pas, was laid down on January 7, 1941, at the Collingwood ( Ontario ) shipyards.  She was launched on August 16, 1941, and commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy on October 21, 1941.
    Like her sister corvettes she was utilized as an ocean escort until war’s end when she was paid off in July 1945. She was broken up the following year.
    Photograph one is undated and shows an overall waterline starboard bow  view.
    Item two is an 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships badge, general characteristics, callsign, trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
