This one is golden brown in color, approximately 5-1/4 inches long capped, with gold-filled trim and a lever filling system.

Sheaffer "Military Clip"
In the 1941 Sheaffer catalog, they were referred to as "Over-The-Top" clips, especially designed "for the men in uniform." Four different models were cataloged, available either as lever or "One-Stroke Vacuum" fillers, in three colors, Black, Golden Brown & Carmine.
Sheaffer's Feather Touch 5 nib, and "500" imprinted on the barrel, indicating a suggested retail price back in its day (1941-1942).
