Sheaffer Prelude Gunmetal Finish with Lacquer Finish Two Tone Nib.

Description

Never inked Sheaffer Prelude pen with gold trim.  Beautiful dark gun metal with a lacquer type finish.  Gold plated trim. This has a two tone nib that has an X on the nib which I take to mean extra fine.  Both the nib and band on the cap have the  SheafferS logo.
Since I could not be sure about the nib size I dipped it in ink and wrote a comparison of the nib with an extra fine point ball pen and took a picture.  You can see it has a very fine line.
The pen has a converter and two ink cartridges along with a Sheaffer Manual. The box says its is a Crest fountain pen but research shows it is a Prelude pen.
This is a solid pen with a good weight and feel posted and without the cap. It has the Sheaffer white dot on the clip and on the end of the cap.
The pen has been stored in a controlled environment with the rest of my collection that I am selling now as I get ready to move to a smaller home in retirement.
