The inside has individual spaces, and the case closes by means of a sprung catch to one side. This superbly forged item, which could also serve as a pill box or cigarette holder, or card case,
remains
in

ood vintage condition
with surface wear consistent with age and prior use, and would make a delightful present.
There is a maker's mark to the inside of the case (see photographs) and a vacant cartouche to the outside.
