    Description

Program from the Inaugural year of the Tour de Trump Bicycle Race.   May 5-14, 1989.
It started in Albany New York and covered 837 miles over 10 stages.  It went through five states and featured 114 riders from 15 countries, including Greg LeMond.
The race was sponsored by Donald Trump for the first two years.  The race later became the Tour DuPont.
The idea for the race came from John Tesh after he covered the Tour de France and suggested holding a race in the United States to Dick Vitale.
