    Description

    Two solid silver alloy, South Asian bowls, one
    hand raised,
    with decorative repousse border around the upper rim, the other undecorated and likely spun to form.  The pair weighs 6.93 troy ounces. The bowl with raised border measures 4 inches in diameter at the opening and 2 3/4 inches high, and is marked on the base with cut or impressed letters near the center point punch.  The plain bowl measures 4 inches high and 2 5/8 inches high, and is not marked.  The plain bowl has numerous dents and dings and scratches and old established tarnish.  The other bowl has small dents and tiny dings overall,
    some
    deeply established tarnish particularly on the inner bottom, and is overall etched by old tarnish corrosion to a virtually matt surface.  Both bowls rock slightly with uneven bottom surfaces.
