    Vintage Arabic Egyptian Cairo Silver Plate 0.900. Hand engraving.
    Size: 7.8 inches or 20 cm. Weight approx. 218 g.
    An suburb quality, extremely fine hand engraved, Solid silver small tray or the plate, with sloping scalloped rim.
    The reverse, back side of the plate - smooth without patterns, with a stamp.
    Description of the existing mark:
    Mark  in the first square on the left is the Cairo assay mark. The three numbers below it are Arabic letters for 900 ( it's 900 parts out of a 1000 silver ). In the center is a lotus that has been in use since 1946 and denotes a silver item. The last field is the date stamp. What date - I could not determine.
    The condition of the engraving is good, with no visible scratches or irregularities in the pattern.
    There are some scratches on the back of the plate - see photo.
